KODEACROSS is looking for a QA Engineer who owns quality across the full product lifecycle — from test planning through release sign-off. You are systematic, detail-oriented, and experienced with Playwright. You write tests that catch real problems, communicate failures clearly, and raise the bar on what "done" means for the team.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright across web and mobile surfaces.
- Define test plans, identify edge cases, and validate feature requirements before and after release.
- Collaborate with engineers and product leads to surface and communicate bugs clearly and early.
- Continuously raise the quality bar by improving test coverage, tooling, and QA processes.
Qualifications
- Test Automation: Hands-on experience with Playwright — this is a hard requirement.
- Testing Strategy: Ability to write test plans, define acceptance criteria, and triage failures systematically.
- Bug Communication: Clear, structured bug reports with reproduction steps, severity, and impact.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with developers in an agile, fast-moving environment.
- Mindset: Detail-obsessed, methodical, and takes personal pride in shipping software that works.
Work Setup
- Open exclusively to candidates based in the Philippines.
- Hybrid model — project-based engagement with on-site presence at our office a couple of times per month.
